Game

How do I unlock the censored Patreon version (Standard Edition) of the game?

After starting a new game, bring up the developer console by pressing Shift+O and type: set_special(True). This command enables the Taboo Version of the game, the way the game is meant to be played. The change will be persistent and should carry over to any new release.

How do I revert to the censored version (Standard Edition) of the game?

Remove the incest_patch.rpyc file (if present) from the game directory and start up the game. Open the developer console and press Shift+O and type: set_special(False), the main menu label should now say Standard Edition instead of Taboo Edition.

How do I unlock the censored Patreon Android version (Standard Edition) of the game?

Unfortunately patching the Android version isn’t as straightforward, as the Android build of Ren’Py lacks a developer console. I’ve started offering uncensored Android builds here on this website, on SubscribeStar and other platforms may follow.

For Sisterly Lust, the66 over at F95Zone has built a patcher for Android which might still work for newer versions of the game. You can download it here (Mirrors: NOPY / Workupload). It’s enough to install the APK and run it and the game should be patched, make sure that both the game and the patch have permissions to write to storage. For any support, please use the appropriate thread on F95Zone.

Why doesn’t the uncensored Android build start?

This could be due to the app not having permissions to write to storage. If you allow the game permission via the information screen it should run properly.

The minimum requirements for installing Sisterly Lust are at least 4GB RAM and 12GB free storage space. Please note that the numbers mentioned are indicative, the Android needs a lot of free space to unpack the game. If you don’t meet those specifications the game might not install.

Where are my save games located?

In case of Sisterly Lust, look for a directory with the name SisterlyLove in it, saves for Tales From The Unending Void contain the regular game name. On the desktop there are two possible locations, the game directory itself, or at the default location for each OS:

  • PC: Users\*name*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\
  • Mac: ~/Library/RenPy/
  • Android: SD:/Android/data/com.perverteer.sl/files/saves/
    or SD:/Android/data/com.perverteer.tftuv/files/saves/
Why doesn’t the game start on Windows, Linux or Mac?

This can have several causes and there are a few known issues with Ren’Py (the game’s engine) which are listed here in the documentation together with solutions.

If the game doesn’t start at all on Windows a possible solution is to update or reinstall your video drivers. Also, make sure the game is installed in a location in a directory with a full path that is representable in the current system language. So installing the game in a directory containing Chinese characters while the system language is set to English will probably lead to problems.

If the game doesn’t run on macOS it could be quarantined by GateKeeper you can try the following:

  • Open Terminal.app
  • Write the following command: xattr followed by a space and drag the TFTUV.app or SL.app from the Finder onto the terminal window
  • Press Enter, it should show com.apple.quarantine as a result. If the text is not shown you’ve likely encountered another issue.
  • If the text is shown, type xattr -d com.apple.quarantine  followed by a space and drag TFTUV.app or SL.app onto the terminal window again
  • Press Enter and try to launch the game again.
Why does the message “No previous season data found” appear in Season 2?

The game can’t find any saved game data in any of the saved game locations to load in order to continue the game with all of your previous choices made in Season 1 intact. Please confirm that a file named “Season 1 *longstringofalphanumericcharacters*.save” is present in the saved game directory.

Later builds of the Android version use a new save game location to help with importing saved game data into a new season. Here are the steps to transfer your Season 1 save to Season 2 on an Android device:

  • Install both the latest Season 1 and Season 2 builds on your device.
  • Open  up Season 1 until it has gone to the main menu and close the application again.
  • Verify that a directory called RenPy_Saves has been created in your Documents directory and that it has a subdirectory called com.perverteer.tftuv. In that directory there should be a file called Season_1_*longstringofalphanumericcharacters*.save
  • After verifying, open Season 2, from the main menu you should be able to select Continue and play with your Season 1 save.
